Grid doesn't work well in the workspace overview

How to reproduce the bug:
1.Open an application
2.Change it to a non-maximised mode(restored mode)
3.Click on the workspace switcher button on unity launcher
4. Try to maximise the window in an another workspace by dragging it to the top
5.It will be maximised in the original workspace

How it should have worked:
It should have maximised in the workspace in which the behaviour was intended.
