The problem for you (and the duplicate bugs) is that fglrx-updates is not removing properly/completely and produces this error:

update-rc.d: /etc/init.d/atieventsd exists during rc.d purge (use -f to force)
dpkg: error processing fglrx-updates (--purge):
 subprocess installed post-removal script returned error exit status 1

For those suffering from this bug, perhaps someone should try the following command before uninstalling:
sudo /usr/sbin/update-rc.d -f atieventsd remove

Thanks Dave, I solved this way:
$ sudo /usr/sbin/update-rc.d -f atieventsd remove
$ sudo dpkg --purge fglrx-amdccle
$ sudo dpkg --purge fglrx
$ sudo dpkg --purge fglrx-updates
$ sudo apt-get install fglrx fglrx-amdccle

I don't have fglrx-amdccle package in the repository. So it's not a
solution for me ((

@Stefano, Post #5. The package is amdcccle, not amdccle. The following should read:

$ sudo /usr/sbin/update-rc.d -f atieventsd remove
$ sudo dpkg --purge fglrx-amdcccle
$ sudo dpkg --purge fglrx
$ sudo dpkg --purge fglrx-updates
$ sudo apt-get install fglrx fglrx-amdcccle
