Bug Description
while hunting a related uTouch bug I noticed that even while "Enable mouse clicks with touchpad" is enabled in g-c-c I am not able to trigger the corresponding behavior.
Unchecking/checking the config option gets me the intended behavior.p.
I have seen a similar issue with horizontal scrolling, where - while shown as enabled in g-c-c, it wouldn't work until unchecked/checked.
this is reproducable on login.

Thank you for your bug report, there are several trackpad issues being tracked by the xorg guys at the moment and one bug that makes the configs not being reloaded as they should after suspend, let's see if your issue remains once those are addressed
