WFhome.png is a screenshot of the web data sent to the printer, WFprintresult.jpeg is the actual print output.

Hi Larry,

Unfortunately I am not able to reproduce this issue here. However the the raw image received by HPLIP from ghostscript itself contains the black strips. So most likely either application/browser or ghostscript is causing the issue. Please contact ghostscript for further assistance.

Please see that I am getting the correct BMP image from ghostscript.

Hi Larry,

Can you provide me the application output. Steps of capturing the same are:

1) Add printer using hp-setup command in the terminal.
2) Run hp-toolbox command and then stop print queue "Printer Control->Stop Printer"
3) Try to print the web page which has issues.
4) Copy the file /var/spool/cups/d* to /tmp directory and then change its permission to 755.
   e.g => su && cd /var/spool/cups
          => cp d00011-001 /tmp
          => chmod 755 /tmp/d00011-001
5) Send me the file (/tmp/d*)

NOTE** This is the file which will be provided to the Linux driver by an Application. If something wrong happens in d* file itself then the issue occurs because of Application.

Thanks,
Sanjay

Hi Sanjay,

Attached is the /temp/d* generated by the new OJ 6700. The printer output is solid black except for the word Google and the street address searched for in Google Maps.

Thanks,
Larry

Hi Sanjay,

After your comment about the problem may be an application problem, I started researching in Firefox help and discovered that it is a Firefox issue, not a printer issue. Thanks for all your help.

Thanks Larry for the reply. Since I was not able to reproduce the issue here, but issue is happening for you every time. So may be there is some settings difference. May be you can check the settings once more. And based on your feedback I will move this bug to invalid state as this is not a driver issue.
