wlan disconnects after activating gnash

I installed gnash as browser plug-in on two computers with Ubuntu 11.10 as OS. On one of them, it works. On the other one, it causes a problem with the internet connection. About ten minutes after activating gnash in the Firefox settings, the wlan connection is disrupted. I get asked for the wlan passphrase several times, but can't get a connection any more (I'm not quite sure, maybe it managed to reconnect once, but only for a short time). I have to restart the computer to re-establish the connection.

The installed gnash packages are the same on both computers:
gnash 0.8.10~git20110618-3ubuntu1
gnash-common 0.8.10~git20110618-3ubuntu1
browser-plugin-gnash 0.8.10~git20110618-3ubuntu1

I realise you probably need additional information, but at the moment I don't know what would be helpful. Please tell me.

I don't think this related to Gnash. I run Gnash on several Ubuntu 11.10 machines daily, and none exhibit this beahaviour. So without furthur information that shows this is a Gnash problem, it's hard to offer any advice on your problem.

I thought the problem was related to gnash because it appears when gnash is activated. As long as gnash is deactivated in Firefox, the internet connection works just fine. When I activate gnash, it disconnects. If you think it's not caused by gnash, do you have any idea what else might be worth investigating? I could probably compare the settings of the two computers, but at the moment I don't know what to look for.

I just don't see anyway Gnash being activated in Firefox would cause this, or see this behaviour all the time on my 11.10 machines.. Just activating Gnash shouldn't do anything, it's only running when SWF content is found on a web page. By any chance do you still have the Adobe player installed ? Maybe Firefox is getting confused.

Sorry for not answering. I'm actually unsure about the Adobe flash player. The computer in question is my sister's. She says that she clicked a link on YouTube to download it when she couldn't watch any videos - I don't actually know why she couldn't watch videos in the first place, maybe I just hadn't installed gnash yet or I had deactivated it and forgotten to reactivate it. Anyway, I checked the computer for the Adobe flash player as well as I could (I searched for anything containing "Adobe", "Macromedia" or "flash" both in the Ubunutu Software Center and on the whole computer), but I couldn't find anything. As far as I remember (I have no access to that computer at the moment), I also checked Firefox's add-on settings and gnash (and not Adobe) was listed. I think I'm going to delete everything related to Firefox (except personal things like bookmarks) and re-install the program - maybe there's an odd chance that will help.
