Only podcast feeds ending in .rss work consistently

My feeds with ending with .xml don't work, such as this one:

http://www.anthonyjosephlanman.com/acp/feed.xml

Also, some feeds with no extension at all don't work:

http://feeds2.feedburner.com/linuxoutlaws-ogg

Cartalk feed also doesn't work:

http://www.npr.org/rss/podcast.php?id=510208

Each returns "Could not process rss feed" error message.

On the bright side, all 3 of the submitted feeds fail the W3C feed validator, so I don't feel too bad.

I've had problems with other npr feeds not returning a full feed data all of the time.

Some changes have been pushed that *might* help with the NPR feed issues
