installer crashed

Bug Description

I was installing after reformatting the drive and this was my second attempt and the installer crashed this time I am reporting it. Right now I can not pullup the control terminal. how do I pull up VT2 without a launcher present?

Moving to dpkg as the problem here is clearly dpkg segfaulting.

Looking at the syslog it's not obvious if that was somehow hardware related or an actual dpkg bug, the lack of stacktrace probably won't help debugging it further either :(

Right now I am waiting for a live DVD fro OS.com. Then I will try again.
Thanks for the info. so someone changed it from dpkg to ubiqity, that is so
odd.

Without any way to reproduce the crash and without any backtrace of the crash, this bug cannot be fixed. Marking it as incomplete.
