Right-click simulation (two-finger hold+click) no longer works on MacBook touchpad

Bug Description

xserver-xorg-input-synaptics 1.5.99.901-0ubuntu1, Ubuntu 12.04 beta 1, MacBook early 2008

1. Hold down two fingers on the touchpad while clicking the button.

What should happen: The same as if you had right-clicked with a mouse.

What actually happens: Nothing.

This was working properly on 2012-03-14.
It stopped working after installing updates on 2012-03-19.
xserver-xorg-input-synaptics 1.5.99.901-0ubuntu1 was released on 2012-03-16.

The issue lies in a bad interaction between middle button emulation (press both physical right and left buttons at the same time) and click action support. This isn't seen for clickpads because middle button emulation is disabled by default.
