Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Changed in glib2.0 (Ubuntu):
status: New → Confirmed

Appears to be a regression.

When trying to submit a bug report, Apport says it's already been reported (Mar-2011, upon checking launchpad):

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-appmenu/+bug/741488

Downgrading to "indicator-appmenu 0.3.1-0ubuntu2" makes the bug go away in Ubu 12.04 Precise 32-bit.

Can you submit a bug using apport anyway?

Changed in glib2.0 (Ubuntu):
status: Confirmed → Invalid
importance: Undecided → Low

closing the bug, it should be submitted using ubuntu bug, it's also not likely a glib issue

Can't submit a bug using apport. It pops up and asks if we want to send an error report--clicking yes/continue/whatever gives a dialog saying the error has already been reported. It doesn't behave like 'normal' by opening a browser window to the existing bug report, it just quits.

(also, attempting to change the bug to reference 'unity' instead of 'glib' is an exercise in futility. Searching for 'unity' returns an error that there are too many results. Trying unity-panel-service, unity-panel, unity panel, unity app, etc... returns no projects found.)

affects: glib2.0 (Ubuntu) → unity (Ubuntu)
Changed in unity (Ubuntu):
status: Invalid → Confirmed
