Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

Starte the aoutomatic upgrade but wen to work when the download started. When returned there was one question, if I recall right, had to do with saving alogin ingformatiion under /etc/.. Then the Tool crashed with the following output

The "no activity ...." is tru since I left for work.

I can't recreate this. What locale are you using?

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but I had installed the French packages using some package manager (I don't remember which one but I had not installed it using the "System Settings/Réglages du système" functions - maybe I picked the wrong one).

Also this may be related, when I install packages using Adept Installer, I usually get an X error message saying:

X Error: BadDevice, invalid or uninitialized input device 154
  Major opcode: 145
  Minor opcode: 3
  Resource id: 0x0
Failed to open device
