This occurs everytime there is any sort of upgrade as well. Doesn't have any other effect for me.

This also happens to me when I try to do updates, but also I have multiple login ID's named qmail, I can see this when I log out.

To fix it all you have to do is:

                     1) Run Synaptic Package Manager

                     2) In search textbox search "qmail" (without quotas)

                     3) on respective checkboxes select with rightclick for complete remove
                                          [x] qmail
                                          [x] qmail-tools
                                          [x] qmail-run
                                          [x] qmail-uids-gids
                                          [x] fastforward
                          click <Apply>

<Ctrl> + <Alt> + <T> and on terminal type:

         sudo apt-get autoremove && sudo apt-get clean

         sudo apt-get -f install (this is done to check if is ok)
