Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
  * Fix build failure with ld --as-needed.

Explanation of FeatureFreeze exception:
Old upstream version was from 2008, this is at least from 2010. We had the xauth feature as a patch already, so the only new feature is xnest_debug. We need a rebuild for the libjpeg transition and this sync will accomplish that as well. No reverse dependencies.
