Presumably the privacy settings for Activity Log Manager only affect Zeitgeist logging?

This could pose problems for people who think that by unchecking "Website" in the Files tab, their history won't be saved by Firefox, for example, or that LibreOffice won't remember which files they've were working on.

Suggested wording (roughly):

These options will prevent items from showing up around your desktop, such as in the Unity Dash, the Activity Journal, [etc.]. Individual applications like Firefox and LibreOffice may remember your activity independently of these settings.

I agree with the working but keep in mind that this is not an upstream
activity log manager bug to fix. We can not a bring up Unity Dash since
other "environments" also r using this..
