screen corruptions after latest compiz update

Bug Description

Since the latest compiz and unity update the menu and tooltip shadows remain on screen after the menu/tooltip disappears. See the screenshot attached for what happens if I open an indicator, move the mouse over to the others, then close the indicator by clicking it again. This is 100% reproducible, the rectangles only disappear after unity restart (with either unity --replace or logout+login).
