Bug Description

After upgrading from unity 5.2.0-0ubuntu3 to 5.2.0-0ubuntu4 on my MacbookPro3,1 with Nvidia 8600M GT, I get graphical corruption onscreen (see screenshot) for a couple seconds when I login. The corrupted display includes content from my desktop from the previous session. The corrupted content comes from my previous session even if I perform a warm reboot between logins. I assume we're failing to clear a buffer before trying to draw it.

I've reproduced this 2 out of 2 attempts.

To reproduce:
1) Boot open a few apps (firefox, thunderbird, etc)
2) Reboot
3) At the greeter, login

Expected results:
After the greeter I see the Ubuntu desktop (launcher, desktop background, panel). There may be a second or two of black screen between the greeter and the desktop.

Actual results:
After the greeter disappears, I see corrupted graphics for a few seconds before the desktop appears. Once the desktop appears, it draws normally and unity seems to function properly.
