Blank screen with kernel 3.0.0-15 (integrated Intel GPU on HP EliteBook 2540p)

Bug Description
After upgrading kernel on Ubuntu 10.11 screen stays blank after boot. It was working fine on kernel 3.0.0-12.
If I boot with "nomodeset" screen works, but it is not really convenient since gnome-shell does not work with that option.
