Bug Description

Pages will not load.

On going issue with these military web pages. Forces us to go back to IE so they can load the pages (on line courses, etc..). POP up blocking has been disabled too.

Firefox 10.0 on Oneiric with default ua or ie8 ua say untrusted connection (error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer).

Thanks, but you need to be more specific about what actually doesn't work. In any case, the invalid certificate warning is not a Firefox bug. The bug reporting guidelines that are linked from the bug submission form explain why this is the case (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs#A.22Secure_Connection_Failed.22_errors).

If something else doesn't work and you can provide the information requested in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs, feel free to reopen this bug. In the meantime, I'm going to close it.

I will check again and try to get a better handle on it. I have never being able to get Firefox to work properly on government wedsites. most of them state that their sites are specifically set up for IE use.
