Hi.
I'm the maintainer of this package in Debian and I would highly recommand that please sync the package from Debian.

1. Though the current patch in Ubuntu isn't in Debian, but in Debian we have another way to solve the same issue. So the patch in Ubuntu isn't really a necessarily one.

2. In Debian we don't split the -bin package because the -bin tools is used by both package trigger and the user himself. And we cannot let the library package depends on -bin which causes small circular dependencies.

Now Ubuntu version is larger than Debian.
I think I can do another upload to revert part of the merge happened in ubuntu1. Is that good?

This bug was fixed in the package libomxil-bellagio - 0.9.3-1ubuntu2

---------------
libomxil-bellagio (0.9.3-1ubuntu2) precise; urgency=low

  * Make libomxil-bellagio0 depend on libomxil-bellagio-bin, as it
calls binaries from the latter in its postinst (LP: #921523)
