Segmentation fault when running "gnome-control-center" over X11

Bug Description
I have two latest-update 11.10 machines next to each other, both with Internet addresses.
I ssh -X from one to the other and launch gnome-control-
From the window that pops up, I click on "User Accounts" and promptly it disappears and my terminal reports a seg fault.
This is repeatable. I get the same thing if I first bring up a remote xterm and then do it from that.
I need to administrate the remote machine, ie to run gnome-control-
