Bug Description

This happens on a regular basis. I open mumble, and when I try to connect, it hangs. This doesn't happen every time, but maybe 1 out of 2. Usually killing it and starting again works.

Adding an upstream task in case there is an upstream that wants to take a look. Mumble is not in our main repository, atm, so Ubuntu Engineering will likely not be working on this specific issue.

I just switched Mumble to use PulseAudio instead of Alsa and it seems to fix the issue for me.

We're hoping to fix this upstream as soon as we can.

The hang happens inside avahi's libdns_sd compat library. The library gets in a weird state because of a seemingly wrong readyRead() by a QSocketNotifier in Mumble's Bonjour code.

We haven't found the root cause of it yet, though, but we hope we will soon.
