Bug Description

I installed Ubuntu Warty 4.10 i386 on a Toshiba Satellite M30-304 notebook (TFT
XGA 15.4" Wide resolution 1280x800, graphic card NVidia GeForce FX Go5200 with
32MB).
After rebooting and downloading upgraded packages, it starts X but the only
available resolution is 640x480.

I traced the problem back to bad values in XF86Config-4. I had to change the
HorizSync, VertRefresh and Modeline parameters in the Monitor section to make it
work at 1280x800. I am not sure if changing the Modeline parameter is required,
I just copied the values that I used in Mandrake.

Section "Monitor"
 Identifier "Monitor Generico"
 HorizSync 31.5-48.5
 VertRefresh 40-70
# HorizSync 28-33
# VertRefresh 43-72
 Option "DPMS"
        ModeLine "1280x800" 80.58 1280 1344 1480 1680 800 801 804 827
# Modeline "1280x800" 83.91 1280 1312 1624 1656 800 816 824 841
EndSection
