Bug Description
Hey there,
I've imported several audio CDs the last days and there were two things that I noticed about the imported music's ID3 information I had earlier entered by hand (i.e. before importing):
1. Apparently, sometimes Banshee didn't save the release year (which I definitely put in that dialog field) and set it to "1" instead.
2. Whenever I had entered the artist of a compilation Banshee didn't actually save it.
Especially 2.) would result in a strange sorting of the songs which is how I noticed it.
As far as I remember, both bugs mostly if not always occured together. I can't tell exactly as not all CDs I imported were compilations (hence the "sometimes" in 1.)).
I'm on Ubuntu 11.10 and have Banshee 2.2.1 installed.
Please let me know if you need any further information.

By sometimes, do you mean that it happens to some compilations and not to others, or do you mean that it happens to the same compilation sometimes?
It could be that Banshee does not manage to obtain the release year for some audio CDs, and as such saves it as 1.
