No time display off ogg vorbis files in paths with umlauts

* Mixxx Version: 1.9.2 and 1.10.0 beta1 x64

Ogg Vorbis files which are store in paths with german umlauts will show up no time information in the time display. Also the marker for the current position in the waveform overview and the beat grid in the waveform display are missing.

examples:

c:\musicfiles\test.ogg - eveything OK
c:\musicfiles\ä\test.ogg - problems as described above
c:\musicfiles\ä\test.mp3 - everything OK

Which Mixxx version have you tried?

I believe this is caused by us providing an incorrectly coded path to TagLib. In 1.10 latest (not the beta) the time display problem should be fixed.

Thomas, is the track duration shown in the duration column in the library table or is it blank for tracks with umlauts in the path?

After checking over the source, I believe I know why and you should see the same behavior on WAV, AIFF, RIFF, FLAC, and Ogg. MP3 and M4A both had checks against this bug.

The track duration in the duration column in the library shows "00:00" for all my flac and ogg files.

I checked with WAV, AIFF, OGG, FLAC and MP3. MP3 works fine but all the other formats show the same problems.

There also is a problem with the metadata which are shown erroneous. (Interprete shows the title number, album, year and genre are blank)

I just committed a potential fix. Could you please try out the latest 1.10
build here:

That is a version of 1.10 with all of the bugfixes we have made since the
beta release. You will need to delete your library to rescan the tracks
that are already in it. See this Mixxx manual section for info on how to
delete the library:
http://mixxx.org/manual/1.10/chapters/advanced_topics.html#deleting-your-library

If you don't want to delete your library, you could just copy an existing
file that has an umlaut in its path to a new filename and rescan.

Reproduced with 1.10 r2991, updated to r3008 and the problem is fixed.

I now checked it with mixxx-release-1.10.x-x64.exe from 22-Dec-2011 21:13 and everything works fine. So I also can confirm the fix.
