Bug Description
An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.
Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the following error message:
'W:Encountered status field in a non-version description, E:Malformed 1st word in the Status line, E:Error occurred while processing amarok-common (UsePackage2), E:Problem with MergeList /var/lib/

Hope this helps someone; it's all bits to me.
I'll send this over to update-manager since that seems like the correct package, unless you had a specific reason for packaging it against kubuntu-meta?
