Can't change any options in Software Sources

UCK 2.4.5
Xubuntu 11.10 x64

Can't change any options in Software Sources via Synaptic. States and checkboxes still reverts to default.
Last lines from build.log looks normal:

CHOICE='Run package manager'
Starting package application..

I can confirm this problem.

When running software-properties-gtk from a terminal the same problem appears. Any box checked, simply immediately reverts to an unchecked state.

I have the same problem in Xubuntu... Even adding a deb sources does not work.
However console method (nano, etc and apt-get) seems to work

with 2.4.7 "run package manager" option was removed so this bug cannot happen again. modern package managers use dbus and talk to the host system bypassing the chroot environment. bad thing we've to avoid.
