Bug Description
I have a fresh install of ubuntu 11.10 and I first installed nvidia current-drivers. The problem was that the image in a window freezes and does not refresh if I do not use scroll or I move the window. I then tried nvidia post release updates and although the problem was solved for a while it appeared again.
I decided to check gnome 3 shell to see if I will have the same problems but everything works OK.

Thanks for the bug report. Could you please add a video to show the problem you are facing? I suspect you might be facing something like bug 868889 as the reporter there is also using nvidia binary driver.
