Bug Description
Many kernel packages have "Depends: coreutils | fileutils (>= 4.0)". I think this dates from old kernel packages in Debian (it's no longer present in current Debian kernel packages). fileutils has long since gone away, so this dependency is to all intents and purposes equivalent to "Depends: coreutils"; but coreutils is Essential, and packages aren't supposed to bother specifying unversioned dependencies on Essential packages. This dependency is basically just cruft in the Packages file, and should be removed.
