Bug Description
With Metacity I can righ-click on Gnome (fallback) panel and add applets, but that doesn't work if I run compiz instead of Metacity.
ProblemType: Bug

UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)

Workaround:
Instead of holding Alt and right clicking to edit the panel, hold Alt+Super and right click. With the addition of the Super key, Compiz itself ignores the event.

A workaround is to use Super+Alt+ rightclick combination instead (Super is usually a windows-logo key).
