Package kgamma has only the changelog and the copyright information included

The package has only files:

Workaround (tested with the Kubuntu 11.10).

Download the:
kgamma_4.7.1-0ubuntu2.debian.tar.gz
kgamma_4.7.1-0ubuntu2.dsc
kgamma_4.7.1.orig.tar.bz2

Unpack: dpkg-source -x kgamma_4.7.1-0ubuntu2.dsc

Repack: dpkg-buildpackage -b -rfakeroot -us -uc

Install the .deb and the kgamma has installed:

/usr/bin/xf86gammacfg
/usr/lib/kde4/kcm_kgamma.so
/usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/en/kcontrol/kgamma/common
/usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/en/kcontrol/kgamma/index.cache.bz2

Installing ppa:kubuntu-ppa/ppa should solve the problem?
Didn't worked to me.
I use KUbuntu 10.04.3 LTS.

Steps tryed:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get purgue kgamma
sudo apt-get install kgamma

Log (in Pt-Br):

É preciso baixar 0B/68,3kB de arquivos.
Depois desta operação, 307kB adicionais de espaço em disco serão usados.

Installed, but how invoke it by terminal. Looks like there's something wrong with the debconf after the install of this ppa. See the log.
