Bug Description
Linux Mint 12 Gnome 64 bit
I tried to install a network printer. I unlocked system tools and clicked on the + to add a printer.
I got the message:
FirewallD is not running. Network printer detection needs services mdns, ipp, ipp-client and samba-client enabled on firewall.

One workaround: Add your user to the group lpadmin (sudo adduser <yourusername> lpadmin) then logout/login again & go to http:// localhost: 631 in a browser. This will give you the cups web interface (which can be used to add a printer).
