FXComposeContext: illegal window parameter Aborted

i was wondering why mkahawa which depends on libfox1.6 won't launch in ubuntu 11.10 while i have no problem running this on the previous versions of ubuntu. any idea why i have this issue: FXComposeContext: illegal window parameter Aborted on launching /usr/local/bin/mkahawa -nossl. mkahawa has no changes made since 2010.

Mkahawa attempts to setFocus() on an FXTextField that is inside an unrealized FXDialog.
It used to work in 1.6.36 but fails to work in libFox-1.6.44. I disabled the setFocus(). But the question remains: how to setFocus() to a window object inside an FXDialog
