I have just fixed a possibly missing extension when looking for Qt's own translation files and checked it worked as expected. However, you should be aware that Tagaini tries to use the underlying system's dialogs whenever possible as file dialog. Therefore, if the underlying system's language is English (as were the case on mine), or are not translated, these dialogs will be in English as well.

Which system are you using by the way?

I'm using KDE 4.7.2 under Sabayon (it can be considered a Gentoo system).

I found a hint (altough I couldn't reproduce it a second time) that may help. It's from KDE debug messages and I saw it when Tagaini Jisho opened a dialog to save a list as TSV.
Debug: KGlobal::locale::Warning your global KLocale is being recreated with a valid main component instead of a fake component, this usually means you tried to call i18n related functions before your main component was created. You should not do that since it most likely will not work.

Could it be that your KDE's locale is English? If so, then the current behavior is consistent.

No, it's not in english, it's in spanish. Other languages are installed but not set as preferred in KDE system settings. I usually don't do mistakes that silly :P

Confirmed the problem (yes, I set my KDE to Spanish :p). Don't know who is to blame for now - Qt dialogs work as expected, it would be interesting to see it this happens with other native dialogs as well.
