Unfortunately, Zorin OS is not Ubuntu - it is rather a "derivative" distribution (a distribution originated from Ubuntu but with added and/or changed programs and characteristics). As such, we can not officially provide support for that.

You may want to try the "regular" Ubuntu distribution (download it from <http://www.ubuntu.com/download>), or try asking for help on the Zorin forums (<http://www.zoringroup.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=3&sid=a022f69311a014a8e105ef0a393592fa>) or IRC channel (<http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=ZorinOS&uio=OT10cnVlJjExPTIxNQ6c>).

If possible, could you try to install the official Ubuntu distribution and see if the problem happens again? That would be very helpful for us to determine the exact cause of the error.

Thanks!

I installed ubuntu 11.04 and 11.10 and they work perfectly and did not
throw any
error ..

Glad your problem got solved! What you experienced was probably a problem with ZorinOS itself.

As this was not an Ubuntu bug, I'm closing this bug report - feel free to report any new bugs you may find.

If you want to try something more Windows-like, you can use Kubuntu (<http://www.kubuntu.org/>). Unlike Zorin OS, that's an officially supported Ubuntu derivative, which means that, if you find any bugs, you'll find support either on the KUbuntu IRC channel, on Launchpad Answers for Ubuntu (<https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/>) or Ask Ubuntu (<http://www.askubuntu.com/>). I suggest you try to have a look at it. If you don't want to install Ubuntu again, just install the package "kubuntu-desktop", log out and, when logging back in, select to use the "KDE" desktop environment.

I think you could do the same, but you should ask on the Zorin forums for assistance. The Ubuntu project only supports Ubuntu itself and officially supported derivatives, Zorin OS is not among these (it is fairly independent).
