Bug Description

clamtk says i have "two infected files" in the scan summary. should i do anything about this and if so, what? there is nothing in quarantine. thanks, greg

I guess you could just remove those two files, or simply clear the Firefox browser cache. Probably they are some javascripts with suspicious content.

I don't think this qualifies as a bug though ;) Please let us know if the warnings go away after clearing the cache.

You could also take a look in those files with some plain text editor (like vi), maybe you can figure out what site did they came from and avoid visiting that site in the future.

Would you consider it to affect a linux system? Like should I be worried

Do you believe this is a *bug* in ClamAV? If not, please mark this bug report Invalid, and post about your issue at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/clamav or on a ClamAV support forum. (The original question, to which you linked this bug -- https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/clamav/+question/139571 -- is Expired, so it is unlikely to be noticed. Since you are not that question's creator, you cannot un-expire it, so you're better off posting a new question.)
