Bug Description
/etc/init.
Furthermore, it is no longer possible to log out/shutdown the computer.
See the attached screenshot - broken panel, icons, gnome-terminal colours.

Not a bug in Unity. Though I've reproduced this successfully, Unity is not to blame for this. /etc/init. d/networking has been converted to an Upstart job, but still the old script remains (mysteriously). The old sysvinit script should be disabled.
