ruicdantas, this problem is unreproducible in Xubuntu 11.10, 32-bit. Please answer the following questions:
+ Do you have any extensions installed?
+ Could you please post the results of the following Terminal command:
apt-cache policy libreoffice-calc
+ When you say you can not open or create any file for and from LibreOffice Calc, what specifically are you clicking?
+ Can you open a Calc file from the Terminal via:
localc FILE

Hi Christopher
Thank you for your help.
1st - "+ Do you have any extensions installed?"
MySQL Connector ver.1.0.1, PDF Import ver.1.0.5, Script Provider for Phyton ver.3.3.0

2nd - "+ Could you please post the results of the following Terminal command:
apt-cache policy libreoffice-calc"

Instalado: 1:3.4.4-0ubuntu1
  Candidato: 1:3.4.4-0ubuntu1
  Tabela de Versão:
 *** 1:3.4.4-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://pt.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric-proposed/main i386 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     1:3.4.3-3ubuntu2 0
        500 http://pt.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/main i386 Packages

3rd - "+ When you say you can not open or create any file for and from LibreOffice Calc, what specifically are you clicking?"
cliking on Icon to open calc or open any other LibreOffice app and clicking on FILE>NEW>Spreadsheet or right click on any *.xls/*.odt file it starts the openning/initialization of the LibreOffice but closes imediatly and never open the file.
By the other hand the files can be opened with M$Excel, GnuCalc, etc.

4th - "+ Can you open a Calc file from the Terminal via: localc FILE"
The final result is absolutely identical

ruicdantas, if you uninstall the Script Provider for Phyton ver.3.3.0 extension, does this problem still occur?
