Bug Description

Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric 64bit, fresh install via Desktop-CD

The package “sensors-applet” does not appear in my package manager (Synaptics).
When I downloaded the *.deb from LaunchPad, it will not install as the dependency "libnotify1" can not be resolved. On my system there is already a package named "libnotify4" installed, so it seems to be that the dependency is not updated.

Please have an eye on my observations, as I really like this app for the gnome-panel. :-)

This is bizarre. The package was never removed from Debian, and even has a current version there, but it's completely gone from Universe after Natty. WHY??
