Bug Description

See http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=645420

If libexo-common has been built by an i386 autobuilder in ubuntu, it'll be broken on other arches. My current solution committed in pkg-xfce svn (not uploaded in unstable yet) is to split helpers into their own package. It'll be fixed in precise when we upload that to unstable and sync.

I'm not sure how to deal with this issue for oneiric though...

Uploaded the same fix into -proposed (new binary package unfortunately, but since it has been tested in debian and precise already, I guess it's "safer"…). Feel free to reject it if you think there's a better solution. Thanks.

Hello Lionel, or anyone else affected,

Accepted exo into oneiric-proposed, the package will build now and be available in a few hours. Please test and give feedback here. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you in advance!

Thanks for accepting the upload, but the new binary package is stuck in binary new, so not available for testing. ;-)

Tested the helpers with email-links in xfce4-terminal (having set claws-mail as email-client) and that works perfectly. Thanks for the fix!

This bug was fixed in the package exo - 0.6.2-2ubuntu0.1

---------------
exo (0.6.2-2ubuntu0.1) oneiric-proposed; urgency=low

  * debian/control, debian/libexo-common.install, debian/libexo-helpers.install:
    split exo helpers into their own package libexo-helpers, as some of them use
    architecture dependent paths. lp: #878069
