Bug Description

i have the following graphics
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
for which nvidia drivers were installed which i purged (as they weren't working anyway) and now i have no graphics driver

an update :
i added the ubuntu-x ppa repositories and reinstalled the purged packages (i found it on a forum post) but glx info stil gives

name of display: :0

How did you install the nvidia drivers? Your symptoms indicate that you've got the nvidia libglx.so (which won't work with Intel) on your system, which is why 3D isn't working.

The nvidia drivers don't work on optimus hardware; the “Additional Drivers” capplet shouldn't offer to install them anymore.

I just reinstalled oneiric and now glx works fine.
The nvidia drivers were installed themselves.
