Garbled text in ui

The list view in the ui contains garbled text (looks a bit like some kind of utf-8 interpretation accident). also the ui is in some
non-english language contrary to my locale.

Please, you can check whether the directory
/usr/share/games/peg-solitaire/locales/ have the files
«solitari_en_EN.qm» and «solitari.qm» ?

Uhm....Apparently, the program does not "finds" the locales directory.....

Please do these two tests:

1. Copy the file solitari_en_EN.qm in the same directory and changes
the name to solitari_en_US.qm

2. Try selecting other languages ​​(«Idioma» menu option).

Hello,

Test 1 fixed the language problem. After that, tne english option in language menu is duplicated (appears as options 3 and 4).

Test 2: changing the languages from the menu works alone also in combination with test 1. Even alone without test 1,
the garbled text problem doesn't occur after making a language choice from the menu.

OK. Even so, do not understand why this happens: the default option is
to use the file solitari.qm (English translation) when the .qm file is
not found for the system language. I will continue researching this
problem.
The duplicate menu is normal: you have to translate a string into
translation file. I will attach the file (put in the directory
/usr/share/games/peg-solitaire/locales/)
