Installer crashes with org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.FileNotFound: Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: No such file or directory during installation

When i'm trying to install Ubuntu 11.10 installer crashes. Never before had this problem although i've been using Ubuntu for over 3 years.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. *I did a re-install over existing 11.10 and all went perfect.
If it matters I have a dual boot with Win7 Premium home user.
Question: Is there a 64bit version of 11.10 I can download?
