Bug Description
Binary package hint: liferea
In the release announcement of Herd-4 on the fridge, there is badly formed url: "//www.
Interesting is to see what Liferea does with it:
- nothing if you click it
- when you move your mouse over it, it shows: "file:/
Does creates two concerns:
- is it possible to link to a local file? I hope not. (security-issues)
- shouldn't assuming http be a better choice?
Off couse, no one expects liferea to automatically fix badly formed urls, but it does raise a security concern.

I have no problem with Feisty up-to-date and Liferea 1.2.4.
Which Ubuntu and Liferea versions are you using?
