Bug Description

Each time I boot my system and log in, no window decorations are produced around any window that I open. I can 'fix' it by "sudo compiz --replace" (terminal command below) but this command needs to be ran each time I log in and this does not create a very pleasant desktop environment. Below is also the requested additional system info.

Thanks for any efforts to resolve this small bug.

Hi Alex,

My apologies for the slow reply (my gmail account was down for near a
week and months of emails were lost).

Re Unity, from the synaptic package manager I have version
3.8.16-0ubuntu1~natty2 installed. Also I am using Gnome, not Unity, as
my desktop.

cheers

Tim
