Hi,

Did this get developed in the end? I know the status says its in progress and needs testing but I can't find it in the code.

I had my own need for supporting chef solo and so developed a module of my own which is copied from the existing chef module with some changes to include retrieval of the repository from a central S3 store.

yes, i believe the code is on one of my bazaar branches. did you have a
look at launchpad?
