Bug Description
I have in ~/.config/menus a file called "applications.menu" Slingshot should respect this file. This would enable compatibility with existing menu editing tools like Alacarte and allow users to keep their menu settings across desktop environments.

Actually, ~/.config/ menus/applicati ons.menu redirects us to a file in /etc/, and that's the one we have to write.
