Bug Description
byobu hides the screen output of errors.
I just lost 10 minutes of my life trying to re-bind escape key in byobu.
Ie,
* start byobu
* run: byobu-ctrl-a screen
* type: ctrl-a :
* type (at the ':' prompt): escape asdf
* be confused as screen did not show you any error
* Ctrl-a

So this is unfortunately a side effect of being able to scroll back
and forth through scrollback by repeatedly pressing alt-pageup and
alt-pagedown. That works by setting: msgwait 0 and msgminwait 0.
