I just use my-weather-indicator these days. It has the same features as indicator-weather but doesn't crash all the time. Additionally, it can auto-detect your location.

Yes, but indicator-weather is the official app and must be fixed.

Henry, it's rather uncertain, please note comment #4 in bug 882014

Just for the record, since 12.04 I've removed indicator-weather for good. After all the reporting I don't care anymore if it gets fixed or not.
