Bug Description
I can't reproduce this bug with certainty every time, but there's a significant probability of it manifesting on my laptop by using the following steps:
1) Turn on the screensaver
2) Close the lid of the laptop for any length of time, but leave it for at least 10 seconds
3) Open the lid
4) Either press a key or wiggle the cursor (or do both)
More often than not, the floating Ubuntu icons of my screensaver disappear but the login prompt does not appear. The screen has not deactivated, it is just blank. The only way I'm able to recover from it is to perform a hard reset.
