Bug Description
d-i relies on having access to efivars when installing in EFI mode. linux 3.0.0-9.12 modularised efivars (it was previously built-in), but failed to create a corresponding efi-modules udeb so that d-i could have access to it. As a result, d-i will not recognise that it's installing in EFI mode and will do inappropriate things, such as failing to create the appropriate partition structure.
