Bug Description

After installing LMDE 64 bit, grub was not installed.
My system contains WIN7 in hda2 (primary partition), opensuse in hd5 (extended partition) and installed LMDE 64 in hda6 (extended partition).
During installation I was asked where to install grub, I left the default option: hda

After rebooting, my system rebooted into my previous grub (opensuse), I could access LMDE by modifying grub from opensuse.
So, not grub installation, but my system was installed well.

Any idea why this is happening? Are you using Grub 1 or 2 in SUSE?

Sorry no idea, however the 32bit version it worked. I just reintalled the
64bit over the 32 and now it got installed.
If you want I can try to repeat the problem by installing suse again?
By way not sure id it is related by, hibernation does not work.
